HAWAII VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK FEE


KMC is located within the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, there is an entrance fee for the park. The pass is good for seven days. Please retain your receipt to re-enter park. Various National Park passes such as the Golden Eagle, Golden Age, etc. are honored.

Entrance Fees – Effective January 1, 2020

$30.00 per private non-commercial vechicle -7 days
$15.00 per pedestrian or bicycle - 7 days
$25.00 per motorcycle – 7 days
$55.00 Hawai‘i Tri-park Annual Pass

Vehicle

$30.00– 7 days
Admits one single, private, non-commercial vehicle and all of its passengers.

Individual

$15.00 – 7 days
Admits one individual when entering by foot or bicycle. Individuals 15 years old and
younger are admitted free of charge.

Motorcycle

$25.00 – 7 days

Park passes may now be purchased online.
Regular entrance fees are paid at the entrance station when you arrive.

 

FREE PARK ACCESS for Veterans and Gold Star Families

Starting November 11, 2020 Gold Star Families and U.S. Veterans can get free access to national parks!

Veterans must present a Department of Defense Identification Card (CAC Card), Veterans Health ID card,VA ID card, or a Veterans designation U.S. Drivers License.

Before visiting a national park, Gold Star Family members need to download and print a 
voucher to present to the ranger or place it on the dashboard at unstaffed sites.
