As an example of our three-bedroom apartments at Kilauea Military Camp, Apartment #AQ offers spacious accommodations ideal for families or larger groups. This apartment comfortably sleeps up to eight guests, with two in each bedroom and two on the pull-out sofa bed in the living area.  Amenities include a mini refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, providing all the essentials for a convenient and enjoyable stay amidst the beauty of Hawai`i Volcanoes National Park.

Reservation Policies

• Eligibility for Check-In:
  • All guests are required to present a valid military ID or Department of Defense (DoD) ID upon check-in. For detailed information on patron eligibility, please refer to the full Patron Eligibility guidelines.

• Advance Reservations:
  • Reservations may be made up to one year in advance.

• Pricing Policy
  • All prices are subject to change without prior notice.

• Prohibited Items:
  • Pets, firearms, and fireworks are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property.

Deposit and Cancellation Policies

• Deposit Requirement:
  • A deposit equivalent to one night’s lodging is required at the time of booking. Accepted payment methods include Check, Money Order, Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.

• Deposit Refunds and Cancellations:
  • The deposit is fully refundable if a cancellation notice is received at least 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date.

• Changes to Reservation Dates:
  • Any changes to arrival or departure dates must be made at least 30 days before the scheduled arrival date to avoid forfeiture of the deposit and/or incurring an early check-out fee (equal to one night’s lodging).

Check-In & Check-Out Times:

• Check-In: 3:00 pm
• Check-Out: 11:00 am

Late Check-Outs:

Approved late check-outs are subject to a late check-out fee.

Firearms and drones are strictly prohibited in the National Park and on the premises of Kilauea Military Camp.
