Travel Information: COVID-19 Update

The health and well-being of our guests, team members and all who visit KMC is our highest priority. Effective immediately all reservations including on-line reservations will be suspended until April 16, 2020. This condition is subject to change due to rapidly developing circumstances and direction from the White House, Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and local and state authorities.

Our Commitment to Cleanliness:

We take standards for hygiene and cleanliness very seriously and are taking additional steps to ensure the safety of our guests and team members. KMC is working to ensure that they meet the latest guidance on hygiene and cleaning. Our resort health and safety measure are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19, and include everything from handwashing hygiene and cleaning products specifications to guest units and common area cleaning procedures.

Cleaning Products and Protocols:

KMC use cleaning products and protocols which are effective against viruses, including:

Guest Units: We use cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean after guests depart and before the next guest arrives, with particular attention paid to high-touch items.

Public Spaces: We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in public spaces, with a focus on the counter at the front desk, door handles, public bathrooms and even room keys.

Our Reservation Policy: We understand that guests’ upcoming stays may be impacted by concerns and travel restrictions related to coronavirus (COVID-19). In an effort to assist guests with making alternative arrangements, KMC is waiving individual cancellation and have extended modification waivers for resort stays through April 16, 2020. If your reservation is within the next 10 days and you need to modify or change your reservation, please call (808) 967-8333 or email the reservation desk at usarmy.kmc-reservations@mail.mil, or if you would like to book a reservation for a future date.

Events and Operations: KMC will follow local public health guidance for modification of events and operations in the event of a change in the Health Protection Condition (HPCON).
